Sweet Pup

This past week Clay lost his sweet puppy, Ren. Clay's family had Renny for 14 years and he was a wonderful, feisty, precious little guy. He will be dearly missed.

Also, please pray for the people of Joplin, MO.

What's half price?

I ate at my favorite Mexican restaurant in T-town last night. They have fantastic margaritas and on Tuesdays and Thursdays they offer them for half the price. What a deal! I don't usually even look at the menu when I eat there because I get the same thing every time (A mango margarita and a chicken quesadilla. If you were wondering). Well, yesterday Clay spotted this in the drinks section of the menu.
Half price turds. ALRIGHT! Just what I've always wanted! I'm pretty sure this was suppose to say Tues & Thurs half price.

You win some and you lose some.

Good News. Bad News

I'm moving into a new apartment at the end of the month. The good news is that I have a lot of time to carefully go through all of my junk things and decide what stays and what goes and where it goes for that matter (closet organization is not my strong suit). The bad news is that my room now looks like this...

I have too many clothes.

Afternoon treat

The boy and I were craving some Starbucks so we grabbed the pup and headed down to midtown. Midtown shopping center was barely missed by the tornado and when we pulled up to Starbucks all of the windows were boarded up and there was a fence around the building but the sign said "we're open". We couldn't figure it out so we drove around to the other side to see if there was a way to get around the fence and get to the coffee. We we pulled around to the side we saw a little Starbucks mobile unit set up in the parking lot with a couple of tables and chairs set up around it. It was really fun! and it was nice to see things getting back to normal around here.

Faces

After the crazy week I've had, it was so nice to come back to Auburn yesterday and see these two wonderful faces...

I hadn't seen my dad in 4 months. I cried.
It's good to be home.

Bama Bound

I really love people sometimes.
I know it's hard to tell from this picture but their licence plate is from Colorado. That's some love right there!
